Lordina has allegedly been cited in the cocoa health and extension division under Cocobod for the supply of chemicals for cocoa farmers in the country.
According to the Member of parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central region Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, the said Lordina won the contract through sole sourcing and was required to supply the chemicals to most of the Cocoa sheds in the country.
“I want to ask Dr. Opuni who is Lordina under the Cocoa Health and Extension mandated to supply chemicals to cocoa sheds”, he asked. He maintains that there are heaps of alleged corrupt deals in COCOBOD under the watch of Dr. Stephen Opuni the CEO.
