Vote and kick-out out any President who mismanages Ghana - Prof. Adei

Adei has said Christians and for that matter Ghanaians  must vote against any President of Ghana who doesn't have  the  interest of the country  at heart.

According to him, Christians must also be heard commending hardworking Presidents, adding that it is wrong for Christians to shy away from politics,  it behooves on Christians being the ambassadors of God on earth to ensure that whoever is in power as President, rules the country according to the rules of God which is justice, transparency, integrity and accountability.

Prof. Stephen Adei,  speaking at a Lecture at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Logos Congregation, Achimota as part of the Church’s 50th anniversary celebration on the theme: “The Role of the Church in the political dispensation of the country.”  outlined criteria that should guide whom any Christian votes  as President.

“The candidate must have integrity; we should be sure that when that person becomes a President he’ll be honest with Ghanaians. Again the candidate must have knowledgeable people forming his government. So you ask yourself whether President Mahama is moving this country forward now and the future with his current crop of ministers and those he’ll appoint in the future. Or whether Akufo Addo will do better with a cabinet made up of persons who have a track record of making it in their fields of endevours or whether Papa Kwesi Nduom will do a much better job with his future government. This is what must guide a Christian in electing who becomes our next President.”
