Patrick Mantey, first cousin of the Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has openly declared his support for Nana Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Mantey made the declaration during a five-day tour of the Central region by the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The chiefs and people of Moree, lamented about the neglect of the town by the Mahama government, the result of which has been a near collapse of the fishing industry, coupled with rising and unbearable costs of living.
The vice President’s cousin said he had joined the NPP due to the harsh economic situation in the country under the leadership of Mahama. He told the people of Moree not to vote for the NDC in the upcoming elections because nothing good has been done to improve the lives of the people of Moree.
“I am dumping the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the NPP because they have nothing good to offer Ghanaians and I do not see any better future, should the NDC and Mahama retain power”, he stated.
