Someone has begun a move on Change.org, petitioning Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records and Sony Music to bring Beyoncé’s “Formation World Tour” to Ghana.
The Formation World Tour is
the seventh concert tour by the American singer in support of her sixth
studio album, and it seems to have most locations covered.
Love for the pop artist has been at an all-time high following the release of her latest visual album, “Lemonade”. And it seemed very appropriate that this petition is welcome to bring Beyoncé to Ghana
Initiated by Newman Osei, the petition makes quite a compelling case; recalling Jay Z’s 2006 visit to Ghana;
According to the petition, Ghana feel(s) cheated when Beyoncé goes on tour and leaves Ghana out. The petition ends with a simple plea, “it would mean a lot if she could bring the Formation World Tour here.” join the petition and sign up to make it very successful.
