A house in Rowlett, Texas, was incorrectly torn down after Google Maps wrongly led workers to the address, the demolition company claims.
After Tornadoes had caused widespread damage to homes in the area in December, there were still some unsafe houses to live in.
Lindsay Diaz had to do renovations to her house after engineers said her home was structurally sound.
On Tuesday, she returned home only to find her building had been reduced to rubble.
Diaz said when she confronted the demolition supervisor, he realized that his team should have torn down a
duplex one block further along the street.
According to Diaz, Billy L. Nabors Demolition employee later texted her a screenshot from Google Maps which allegedly showed directions for Cousteau Drive that led to her house.
She claims the president of the company has been unhelpful since the mix-up.
