Holala: Assemblyman blames Kojo Bonsu for Tafo clash

Abraham Boadi,  one of the assemblymen in the Kumasi Metropolis  has  seriously accused the Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu for the violent clashes between some youth and the traditional authorities in   the Old Tafo  community over the fencing of a cemetery.
Abraham Boadi,  popularly known as ‘Opohmon", alleges  Kojo Bonsu  had contracted a Muslim group to fence the said cemetery in 2014 without due diligence, when even  the assembly had  approved about GH1.5Billion for the project because fencing the cementary is the sole responsibilities of the Assembly not individuals or any group, nevertheless the mayor refused to listen to the members of the assembly.

He added that Kojo Bonsu’s inability  to act created ideal conditions for the formation of factions hence  the current clash.
