Giving back to society List of projects and donations by Asamoah Gyan in 2015


The following is a list of donations the captain of the Ghana Black Stars,Asamoah Gyan has been offering from the bottom of his heart to society in 2015.


           March-Wenchi Township water Projects US$ 50,000.00
           April- Hospital bills and SCH Fees US$ 5,000.00

           Second Quarter

           June- Korle Bu Cadio Centre US$ 15,000.00
           June- Korle Bu Flood Victims(Products) US$ 5,000.00
           June- Kumasi Children's Hospital (SoccerFiesta) US$ 5,000.00

          Third Quarter

         September- Suhum Ghana Blind Union US$ 5,000.00
         September- Black Queen All African Games US$ 10,000.00
         Last Quarter

         November- New Entrants & Continious Students US$ 7,000,00
         November- Black Queens on Birthday US$ 30,000.00
         November- Accra Astro Sod Cutting US$ 178,000.00
         December- Hohoe St. Francis Teacher Sch US$ 30,000.00

Details of Projects & Activities - 2015

 The  Wenchi Water Project,   provided  a full rehabilitation of the Pump House that provides water to Wenchi and adjoining towns and communities. The total cost of the project was $50,000.

There were three(3) major events in June. Donations to the June 3rd Floods victims and two (2) others made to the the Cardio Centre and Children Ward of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Pampaso in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. The Flood victims - Rice and Noodles of 200bags and paid bills for for the Childrens Ward - 18,000GHC. Cardio Centre was $15,000 and the Pampaso Children's hospital ward received a total makeover. Provided two (2) 42" Flat Screen TVs, beds and MUltiTV decorders for the two wards,  painted the two wards and gave them mattresses, mosquito nets and changed their washrooms equipments.

The Foundation also made a major contribution towards the quest of winning gold at the AAG in Congo. Asamoah Gyan made a cash donation of $40,000. An initial cash donation of $10,000 in Congo and further $30,000.
In september,  a major contribution to the lives of the Suhum Ghana Blind Society. They were provided with White Canes, Talking Watches, 80 bags of Rice and NHIS for the entire membership - 231.
The  Sod Cutting for the $178,000 Astro Turf Pitch for Accra Academy School.
The final project for the year was the Water Project at Hohoe St Francis Teacher Training School costing  $30,000.
These projects and cost are exclusive of the several other investments in the area of providing educational support for the many brilliant but needy students in the country.
