Finally, finally!!:First Nigerian Speed Train To Become Operational In 30 Days Time!

Nigeria is now ready for it's  first ever high speed train service in March 2016. It is the double-track, standard gauge between Abuja and Kaduna that runs at 120Km and 150 Km an hour.

By March, travelers will be able to journey  from Abuja to Kaduna (and vice-versa) in less than an hour. The project  cost $849 million and was executed by the China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) according to  the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Adeseyi Sijuwade the corporation was looking at a February-March timeline to commence delivery of services in Nigeria. Good example for other Africa heads to emulate.
